"To advocate, coordinate and facilitate an optimum level of services for homeless veterans at-risk
of homelessness and their families."
The Seattle-King County Veteran's Coalition is pleased to present this Resounce Guide to human
service providers serving homeless veterans. We hope that this guide will assist you in helping the veterans that you
see to better access services to meet their needs. Services in this guide include veteran specific services that in
some way priortize veterans in their programs.
The authors wish to acknowledge the Downtown Emergency Services Center for the former and initial
list of entries, the King County Veterans Program for access to its updated resource list, the City of Seattle Office of Intergovernmentental
Affairs for compiling information and establishing momentium, the VA Homeless Care Line staff for gathering and articulating
VA resources, the Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program staff for verifying and updating community resources and the Compass
Center for coordinating the project.
